Max Power Birmingham 2003

Having had an interest in cars for many years and having grown up reading things like Custom Car magazine I had always wanted to go back to see a custom car show, the first one I attended was in Blackpool in the 1970s, there were such delights as a purple V8 powered milk float and so much more, sadly I have no pictures.

But now it was 2003 and there was a custom car show by people that produced a magazine called Max Power, it was in the Midlands and I got tickets for myself and Stephen to attend and an interesting day was had as can be seen by the pictures below.

The only really annoying thing was that as soon as I framed a picture of a car, a scantily clad female would get in the way and either myself or Stephen would have to escort them away as can be seen in the pictures.

Apart from that there was a lack of food, being very hungry we were both interested in a sign that said "Jelly Wrestling", I was that hungry that fighting someone for a bit of dessert was a good option. However, I was really shocked to find out that this was not what it was all about.
